This is my first post in my newly created blog. Blog is the latest in-thing now and almost everyone has at least one. It works like our personal diary, the only difference is the Blog is an on-line diary where our inner thoughts are revealed and shared with the public instead of the traditional kind of diary where one kept in a lock-tight drawer. I used to write diaries like these traditional kind but that was so long ago during my school days. For a moment I was not sure how to begin.

I admit I had second thoughts whether I should go ahead and create one blog too. After all I am a typical woman with conservative mind. I do not really like to reveal to others a lot about myself. Well maybe I would share a little of myself, but not completely as I am basically a fairly shy person with introvert personality.

Probably because I am a Gemini, I can also be very chatterbox, especially with folks that I am really close to and comfortable with. I strongly believe that my this double-personality has got a lot to do with my Gemini star. I can be quiet this minute and active the next. During my teenage days, one could spot me in a discotheque dancing the night away, or wasting time roller-blading the whole day away and the next day would find me in the library with my head hung low buried in the books for hours. I might be one moment noisy (not nosy) and next moment lip-tight. Nevertheless, I was (and still am) one person my friends can always count on whenever it came to keeping secrets among us girls..

My parents used to tell me they could never understand me. The truth is, as a teenager, even I could not really understand myself then. Odd thing is, my closest pals (or gals) appreciated me better than anyone else those school days. Probably I was fun to be with. Today this same group of pals are married and have kids like me, and I know that I can always count on them, whenever I need them.

Of course now as I age, I become more mature. Somehow, dancing, roller-blading are no longer my favorite past time. Nowadays, I prefer to be with my family whenever I have the free time. Otherwise I would spend my quiet evenings reading a subscribed magazine or a good book, or simply watch my favorite SCV channels. Once a while, me and my close friends will get together for tea or dinner, sometimes even in the comfort of my own home and I will cook up a storm for them.

I am a believer of horoscope. So I decided to check into my on-line astrology to read for directions under my star for today. And guess what? According to astrology.com, today's reading for Gemini is:

Oh well, what the heck! I decided to go ahead with the Blog anyway. I will get used to this.
